Jodi is wearing a white satin shirt. She looks like SHIT. I bet she's on some heavy Meds. Her hair looks greasy today. She has 4 bangs today.

Uh oh. We have a Nurmi issue.



Nurmi wants to call a reporter Jean Casarez to testify to what she seen when JM was taking photos outside with fans.

Nurmi is saying a misconduct by state. (I think Nurmi is mad b/c people didn't want his picture. LOL)
Jean is being called to the stand.  Nurmi asks her how she gets in the court: Jean walks in the front door of the courthouse. Jean says she DID NOT see a juror outside when JM was taking pictures.

Alice is now talking about violent movies. (I'm not sure what fake movies have to do about this trial and Jodi stabbing Travis 29 times, hacks his throat, and shoots him in the head) I guess Alice is saying it's all the movies fault that people don't feel sorry for the victims of abuse.

Alice was sent a box of paperwork on Jodi's case. The first things she got it was limited. Alice flew over and spoke with Jodi for 8 hours and 6-7 hours with her the next day. That's when she decided to accept the case. (I'm sure the $250 AN HOUR had nothing to do with it all) State objects

Then Alice was sent more information. She's looked at 7 hours of unedited 48 hours video, diaries, IM, text, emails, Travis' text to other women, 20 other interviews with Jodi's family and employers. She spent another 44 hours interviewing Jodi. She looked at photos.

Family of origin- there was "abuse" They were hit with spoons. The parents were to strict. Jodi's father was controlling. Dad was jealous. He was inappropriate with Jodi. When Jodi was in the 2nd grade, Jodi told her dad she liked a boy. The dad yelled at the boy and said he was going to bring his toy (which meant a gun). He told Jodi her boobs were to small or her butt was not big enough. (this still doesn't explain about Travis. This is  her pleading not to be put to death-THAT'S IT) Jodi has issues with her mother. She's mad at her mother for not protecting her. Jodi and Carl were ignored when the babies came along.

Jodi and Travis- Alice just said Jodi wanted to get married to OG, but the relationship was coming to an end. Travis came along at the right (or wrong) time. Travis borrowed the dress for Jodi to wear to the PPL event. I guess Travis wined and dined her and all she could see were dollar signs.

Alice said that Jodi was more impressed with his Mormon faith.

Alice said Jodi wanted to MARRY AND HAVE CHILDREN, and she was upset. Alice said the problem was there was a power difference between them.

When they arrive at the Hughes house, Travis pretty much ignores her but then they do the oral sex thing. Alice is saying women have a hard time saying no.

(Really at this point, all Alice is doing is repeating Jodi's story) Travis and Jodi meet at Starbuck, he gives her the Book of Mormon book, he's horny, and Jodi gives him a BJ in the car. Jodi has no boundaries. (You think?)

Erinburg meeting Oct 2006- it was all about sex, not romance. Jodi wanted more, Travis just wanted sex (duh, that's what you call a booty call not a proposal of marriage)

The baptism- Jodi asked Travis to baptize her.(I thought Jodi said no one else could do it and that's why Travis did)

Alice looked at an email on Jan 2007- The email is from Jodi to Travis. She wants to define the relationship. Alice does see "seeds of jealously" coming from Travis. I guess Jodi said in the email she has not had a lot of experience with men (funniest thing I've heard all day) Travis kept telling Jodi in the email for her to date other people (hello! booty call) Jodi likes to say she has a boyfriend. She doesn't want to hurt somebody's feeling.

The email- The Hughes had expressed or advised Jodi to MOVE on from the relationship. The Hughes said that Travis was abusive to other women (OBJECTION FROM STATE)
Travis' closet friends though he had problems with women.

Email- Alice paraphrases what the email says: Travis' prior treatment of other women, Travis may reject her, Travis' childhood and his relationship with women, information on other women, information that if Travis wanted to date Mrs Hughes' sister, Sky would forbid it. They though Travis needed counseling. Travis treated another woman bad. Travis called Jodi a skank. Travis wouldn't allow Jodi to put their pictures up anywhere. The Hughes says Travis was abusive to Jodi. Alice considers all this information abusive.

I bet the Hughes' will have plenty to say

Court is finished for the day. They are going to start court at 9:30 Tuesday. The judge sends the jury back to the room, and they (judge and attorneys) are talking to the jury.
